TC420 & TC421 is back with new designed!

new TC420 TC421 time programmable 5 CH output led strip light controller, Widely used in aquariums, interior design and so on

There is an upper computer in the programmable time controller to make the load output change over time, the customer may customize schedule mode they want through the upper PC.

Then through the USB port to download required schedule to the controller.

The upper PC in addition to the function of editing schedule mode, it also can be setup time for the controller because of synchronous clock function of upper host.

If user want to see the schedule mode effect after editing, they can use fast sowing function of upper.

Because there is no delete function of the upper host, so the mode name display space will come into blank as long as you execute delete.

This controller can control load of led changing effect no more than five channels.

And it can be used in the occasion of the plant lights, light box advertising, the stage, home decoration, aquariums, etc.

Yes, this controller can be a timmer to the light, to set it on or off at the setting time,

For TC420

the setting time can be any time (min) in one day.

like: you can set 6:00     brightness-0%

6:01brightness-10%

6:02brightness-20%

6:03brightness-30%

6:04brightness-40%

6:05brightness-50%

.....

note:  If your set 6:00 @ 0% to 6:30 @ 100%,it will fade 0%-100% between 6:00-6:30(if you choose fade mode), or jump to 100% at 6:30 directly (if you choose Jump mode).

* Brightness changing effect can be "Jump" and "Fade" between each two time points.

For TC421

the setting time can be every half clock in one day.

like: you can set 6:00     brightness-0%

6:30brightness-50%

7:00brightness-100%

......

note:  If your set 6:00 @ 0% to 6:30 @ 100%,it will fade 0% to 100% in 30min.

* Brightness changing effect canonlybe  "Fade" between each two time points.

* If you want keep light on 06:00-12:00, you need set each time point from 06:00 to 12:00.

Sorry, connect two power supply to one controller at the same timeis not allowed, it will damage the controller, or even break your power supply, PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS, thanks.

When your total output current <8A, you can power via DC socket, if >8A(DC12V~96W, DC24V~192W) please power them via screw!

What light can be powered by this controller?

DC12~DC24V constant voltage with dimmable function LED light.

* you should use same voltage light with your power supply, if your light voltage is higher than your input power supply, it may damage the controller.

Question 6:

How many light can be powered by this controller?

If your light is DC12V:

light on each CH should not above 48W, total output should not above 240W.

If your light is DC24V:

light on each CH should not above 96W, total output should not above 480W.

Question 7:

For TC421, if I connect my home network failed, and I can not find the wifi signal of the controller any more, what should I do?

Please long press MENU button untill it display "Set:softAP....", it will be reset, then you can find the wifi signal of the controller again.

What can I do, if I can not program the controller successfull?

If you can not program your controller successfully, like :

* the programming software can not work well,

* the programming software can noy connet the controller,

* the programming software display wrong,

* you do not clear how to program it,

and so on, please contact us in time, we will help you to try another compatible version programming software or you can tell us your time line, we help you to creat it, you only need to download the file to controller, thanks.

as we know far, there may be some compatible issue with several language Windows , the program software in the CD may not work well on your compatible, but another version maybe work, there is another 2 version programming software available, except the software in the CD, contact us for the other version software or more help, please, thanks.

Question 11:

Can I use this controller to controlChihirostank light, like A201, A301， A401， A501, A901, A1201? WRGB 90?

Please check the Chihiros light sepcification below,

because the max. output of 1CH on TC420 or TC421 is48W, it can only drive the model fromA201 to A601,

sorry forA901, A1201 can not be controlledby this controller, thanks.

As WRGB 90 has more White LEDs and Red LEDs, these two channel maybe overload if connect one color to one channel, it may damage the controller, it isnot suggestto use TC420/TC421 to control WRGB 90, thanks.

Question 12:

Can I use this controller to controlHigh power LEDs, like Cree 3W LED, XT-E, etc ?

This controller is designed for Constant voltage dimmable light, like DC12V, or DC24V LED strip light,

If you want to use this controller to control high power LEDs like below, pleasetest it first, because the output voltage of each channel is DC12V or DC24V , up to your power supply,

the controller or your LED may be damaged, it will lose wattanty, please know, thanks!

Question 13:

How many modes can I create and download to the controller ?

TC420, 50 time points max. for each mode, and 50 modes max. in total.

TC421, there is fixed 48 time points, per 30min per unit, and 20 modes max.

In fact,

As the memory of the controller limited, it can not store too many modes,

<20 modes is remomended,

too many modes will full the memory and damage the controller, it will do not work well any more!

As Cree LED work at 2.8-3.3V, the LED can not connect to TC420 or TC421 directly, please connect 4 pcs LEDs with resistors, to make the chain bear DC12V voltage.Leave message to me to get more information, thanks.

How to add TC421 to your local WiFi network:

When you conenct your TC421 to router, and search it on PC by wireless, notice TC421 support 2.4Ghz only, 5Ghz is not compatible, thanks.
