2.The total wattage of light strip is suggested less than 80% rated wattage of transformer, lest influence the lifespan of transformer.
3.For example, 1×4M 9.5W/M Skyline linear lights, its light strip wattage is total 38W. Need to equip with the transformer over 47.5W at least. Therefore, we suggest you choose the 60W transformer is OK.
Computational formula:
(1). 1(pieces)×4(length)×9.5(each meter light strip's wattage)=38W
38÷0.8=47.5W→Choose 60W Transformer
(2). 1(pieces)×4(length)×10(each meter light strip's wattage)=40W
40÷0.8=50W→Choose 60W Transformer
Purchase advice:
1. 10W/M COB light strip is more suitable for emitting light downward, because COB light strip won't emit the dazzling light into your eye. And it has cover for light strip.
2. Normal 9.5W/M light strip is more suitable for emitting light upward. Because its light won't emitting into your eyes directly when they emit light upward.
3.You won't see many difference between the normal type and COB type when you watch them at a far position. But when you near to the product(Lights ON), and watch through them carefully, then you will find the COB type get much less granular sensation than the normal one.
