Bacteria susceptible to oxytetracycline; Gram-positive aerobes (Bacillus sp., Corynebacterium sp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathia, Listeria monocytogenes and Streptococci.), gram-negative bacteria (Actinobacillus sp., Bordetella sp., Brucella sp., Francisella tularensis, Haemophilus sp., Pasteurella mult. haemolytica, Yersinia sp., Campylobacter fetus, Borrelia sp. and Leptospira sp. The effects of oxytetracycline against these bacteria are variable: Staphylococci, Enterococci, Enterobacter sp., E.coli, Klebsiella sp., Proteus sp., Salmonella sp., Bacteroides sp. and Clostridium sp. Oxytetracycline-resistant bacteria; Mycobacterium sp., Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Serratia sp., Mycoplasma bovis and M. hyopneumoniae. USAGE AREA / INDICATIONS VITAFORM Oral Solution Powder is used for the treatment of respiratory, digestive, urogenital system infections, septicemia and secondary infections with viral diseases caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive bacteria in chicks, chickens, turkeys, cage birds, calves (rumen activity has not started), lambs (rumen activity has not started), as well as foals, cats and dogs. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION The recommended daily oral treatment dose is 30 - 40 mg / kg body weight per day for all poultry species, 40 mg / kg body weight per day for calves, lambs, and 60 mg / kg body weight for rabbits, cats and dogs. CONTRAINDICATIONS It should not be used in animals susceptible to tetracycline. It should not be used in animals with hepatic and renal insufficiency. STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE Shelf life is 36 months from the production date when stored at 15C - 25C in a moisture-free environment protected from sunlight.
