WB-16 type wearable (wrist watch) personal dosimeter for X and γ-ray alarm equipment, mainly used to monitor the staff in the radioactive places by X-ray and gamma radiation dose. The dosimeter is small and can be worn like a watch, especially for medical applications involving interventional radiotherapy.
The dosimeter can be used for radioactive medical, industrial nondestructive testing, radioisotope applications, occupational disease prevention, troops, nuclear power plants and radioactive workplace and other occasions around the radiation dose equivalent measurement.
The dosimeter uses a low-power single-chip control, to achieve the LCD driver display, measurement data storage, the relevant parameter settings, detector failure alarm, battery voltage detection, ultra-threshold sound and light alarm, charging and other functions.

1. Work Mode Description:
Wearable (watch type) personal dosimeter can be divided into standby, measurement, set three modes of operation.
A. Standby mode: Standby mode is power saving mode. You can query the measurement result, alarm threshold and other parameters by pressing the key.
In this mode, press 【RESET】 key to check the measurement result, alarm threshold and other parameters. Press 【MODE】 key, LCD display "on X", where X said the number 3,2,1,0, two seconds followed by the display, after the buzzer sound twice, backlight flash once, the instrument switch to the measurement mode, If the [MODE] key is pressed and held for less than 3 seconds, the instrument automatically returns to standby mode；
B. Measurement mode: measurement mode real-time monitoring of radiation levels. In this mode, the timing of the acquisition count, Every other period of time to calculate and data processing, if the measurement results exceed the preset threshold, the sound and light and LCD alarm.

2. Standby mode operation:
When the dosimeter is in standby mode (not measured), the LCD displays the current time.
To view the alarm threshold and parameters: Press the [RESET] key briefly to toggle the displayed measured values and parameters. The display order is: maximum dose rate and its relative time → cumulative dose and working time → dose rate alarm value → cumulative dose alarm value → working time alarm value → cumulative dose clear mode → return to standby mode.
3. Measurement mode operation:
Turn on the operation: long press 【MODE】 key, until the LCD shows the dose rate, enter the measurement mode.
Measurements can be switched in three states: dose rate, cumulative dose and working time. Each time the mode key [MODE] is pressed, the display status is changed once. The order is: dose rate → cumulative dose → working time → dose rate, Loop appear.
The alarm conditions that may occur during measurement are as follows:

4. Parameter setting mode operation:

5. Dose rate alarm threshold setting:

When the dosimeter LCD display undervoltage or no display, please promptly charge operation.
The charging port of the dosimeter is a Micro USB interface. Connect one end of the Micro USB cable to the dosimeter and the other end to the charger or the USB port of the computer. After entering the charging state, the LCD displays the battery symbol to slide.
10. Communication operation:
With the special communication software, the measurement data of the dosimeter is read out on the computer for storage for further analysis and processing.
First connect the hardware, the Micro USB cable connected to one end of the dosimeter, the other end connected to the computer USB port. Install the dedicated communication software on your computer and turn on the software.
