Function: You can replace the Splinter guard as needed to ensure perfect alignment of the guide rail with the cutting line, and to prevent tearing during parallel and lateral cutting. The new Splinter guard can perfectly match the saw blade, accurately align the cutting line, and save valuable setup time. Clear Splinter guard enhance visibility of the cutting line.

You just need to remove the tape to use it. It's very simple. NOTE: You need to clean the rail with acetone and leaving surface grease free prior fitting the new splinter guard.
NOTE
On a clean working surface, there is no risk of dust or debris getting on the tape.
Pull off the adhesive strip or tape with the actual splinter guard to avoid sticking debris.
Before installing the splinter guard, please use a shovel and acetone to remove remaining adhesive.
When you re-apply the splinter guard, you can move it out a portion to allow for clean cutting.
