10. The COCONUT Shell Inline Granular Carbon Pre/Post Filter is also known as the Premium Polishing filter for water filtration systems. It is used to “Polish” and enhance the water tasting qualities and completely removes any traces or bad tastes and odors. This filter can be used for reverse osmosis systems, refrigerators, icemakers, commercial coffee makes, water fountains, water coolers, commercial coffee makers, and other water filtration devices.
11.Typically this carbon is put together by glue and other adhesive chemicals. This inline filter is Friction Spin Welded to eliminate possible health dangers or violations caused by the unhealthy chemicals found in filters manufactured with glue.
12. WARNING: For drinking water applications, do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit. Activated Carbons are NOT designed to kill or remove bacteria or viruses.
