The electromagnetic clutch means that the active and the follower are combined when the power is on. The active and the follower are separated when the power is turned off. The follower is usually equipped with an energized brake; the brake pads can be installed according to different installation methods. There are three types of coils. The coils are also divided into two types according to the installation method. They are shaft-mounted and flange-mounted. Please see the diagram for the specific distinction.
