Need BYPASS OR REMOVE the ballast, otherwise, the e26/e27 lamp may be damaged by high voltage caused by the ballast.
THE BALLAST IN YOUR FIXTURE MUST BE REMOVED OR BYPASSED FOR THESE ADAPTERS TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. CONSULT AN ELECTRICIAN IF YOU ARE UNSURE. DO NOT OPERATE A LED BULB WITH A BALLAST IN THE FIXTURE, DOING SO WILL LIKELY DAMAGE THE BULB.

2. Find the Ballast. Usually it is embeded inside the ceiling fixture. Pls pull off the existing PL lamp, reflector. Leave wire in junction box. and find the ballast.
3. Normally, the Ballast has a black and white wire on the input side (AC input side, 100V -120V for North America). It also has two red and two blue output wires. To bypass this ballast, please cut all the Input and output wires, so total 6 wires cut.
4. Then, you can connect the two red wires to the black wire.
5. Next, connect the two blue wires to the white wire. now ballast is bypassed
